Jamil Scherief, Artist Reception, August 3rd, 6-9PM!

Here's a new one!  Come see the absolutely beautiful, hand thrown porcelain vessels by Jamil Scherief!  They are painted with a glaze where the crystals grow during the firing which makes for one of a kind, beautiful splash of texture & color.  Several months back I got to see his lovely plates & I was totally impressed.  In fact, I bought one that was all white for a wedding present for a dear friend of mine.  It was gorgeous!!!  Some are regular plate size & some are as big as 27".  He'll also be showing some very impressive tall vessels too!

Mixed media work that is a combination of photography, painting, assemblage & calligraphy. Did you know... That we are an official drop off site for the Women's Shelter Jewelry Project sponsored by The Seattle Metals Guild?

The Women's Shelter Jewelry Project collects any & all jewelry that is not being worn. The jewelry is cleaned, sorted & repaired (if needed) & distributed to shelters, etc. in the Puget Sound area.

There is no tax deduction for this, just a warm heart. So bring your tired, dirty or broken jewelry that you don't want any more & donate to a wonder cause!
